Idyllic street
The Idyllic Road is a 130 km long holiday road in the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park , which has existed since 1967 . The name of the street is derived from the character of the landscape and the near-natural route, which mostly leads through relatively sparsely populated areas. It is indicated by signs with a white bird on a green background. Sights on the street are u. a. many intact mills, the Limes and some bathing lakes (although the road does not want to be a connection between interesting places, but rather should give an impression as a whole). For some time there has also been a 147 km long cycle path of the same name, which roughly follows the course of the previous road, but also deviates from this in some sections. Under the heading “Wanderpark Idyllische Straße”, the neighboring towns (supplemented by Großerlach , Alfdorf and Schwäbisch Hall ) have redesigned their hiking trails and put them under a common “tourist roof”.
