Igloo Records is a Belgian jazz label .
The independent label Igloo was founded in 1978 and is based in Brussels. After taking over the jazz label LDH , the label concentrated more on modern jazz and new improvisational music . Recordings and others appeared on the label. a. by Nathalie Loriers , Philippe Aerts , Philip Catherine , Mélanie De Biasio , Freddie Deronde , Michel Herr , Steve Houben , Sal La Rocca , Éric Legnini , Garrett List , Charles Loos , Ivan Paduart , Jacques Pelzer , Fats Sadi , Diederik Wissels , Pascal Schumacher and Fred Van Hove . The Igloo Mondo series, which has existed since 2005 , also included collaborations between jazz musicians and world music artists such as Pierre Van Dormael / Soriba Kouyaté , Charles Loos / Aissawas of Rabat, as well as recordings by Wendo Kolosoy , Majid Bekkas and Manou Gallo .
