Igor is the fifth studio album by the American rapper Tyler, the Creator . It was released on May 17, 2019 via Columbia Records and Sony Music .

The album cover shows Tyler, the Creator in black and white . He looks at the viewer with his mouth slightly open. The background is completely pink. The title Igor in Schwarz is in the lower right corner of the picture, and at the bottom of the picture is the note All Songs written, produced, and arranged by Tyler Okonma .

Guest Posts

In addition to Tyler, the Creator, other artists appear on five of the twelve songs on the album. The rapper Lil Uzi Vert can be heard on Igor's Theme , while the singer Solange Knowles has a guest appearance on the song I Think . Earfquake is a collaboration with rapper Playboi Carti , and singer Pharrell Williams is on Are We Still Friends? represented. Tyler, the Creator also works with rapper Kanye West on Puppet . Igor entered the German charts at number 29 on May 24, 2019 and was in the top 100 for a total of three weeks. The album was particularly successful in the US charts, where it occupied the top . It also reached the top 10 in New Zealand, Australia, Norway, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Austria and Portugal, among others.

The song Earfquake was the only single that was released for download on June 4, 2019 . It reached number 13 on the US charts and number 17 on the UK charts. Thanks to downloads and streaming , the songs I Think , Igor's Theme , Running Out of Time , New Magic Wand , A Boy Is a Gun , What's Good and Puppet were also featured on the Billboard Hot 100 .

Awards

Igor was at the Grammy Awards 2020 in the category Best Rap Album award. In the UK, it was awarded a Silver Record for more than 60,000 copies sold in 2020 .
