Igor Laikert (born February 27, 1991 in Zenica ) is a Bosnian ski racer .

The Bosnian is currently the only World Cup rider in his country.

World cup

In the World Cup Laikert drives since the 2010/11 season . In the World Cup he only takes part in slalom and giant slalom . He made his World Cup debut in January 2011 in the slalom in Zagreb , Croatia . However, he could not qualify for the second round. For the next three years he only drove in Zagreb. Then he took part in Bormio , Kitzbühel and Kranjska Gora , among others . Laikert drove his first giant slalom in October 2014 in Sölden . Laikert has never been able to score in the World Cup.

Major events

Laikert first took part in a major event at the 2011 Alpine World Ski Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . There he reached the 23rd place in the combination . Otherwise he started in the downhill and in the Super-G . In 2013 in Schladming he took part in all disciplines except giant slalom, but only achieved a place in the top 30 in the combination. In 2014 Laikert took part in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi . He started in every discipline, but was only able to get into the top 30 in the combination. At the 2015 World Cup in the USA , he could not celebrate any successes worth mentioning.
