Ilija Dürhammer
Ilija Dürhammer (born March 12, 1969 in Vienna ) is an Austrian writer , literary scholar and cultural historian who lives in Burgenland .
Life
Ilija Dürhammer grew up as the son of Austrian and Bulgarian ancestors in Vienna, where he also graduated. He then studied German , music and theater studies and history at the University of Vienna . He then worked as a lecturer, freelance author and researcher at the Universities of Die Angewandte (Vienna), University of Sofia (Bulgaria) and University of Budapest (Hungary). Today he teaches at the Oberschützen Federal High School .
Dürhammer was several times exhibition curator and author or editor of numerous publications on literary and cultural-historical topics. At the same time he wrote novels, prose and poetry.

- 2015 Burgenland winner of the literary competition Goldenes Kleeblatt against violence
