Ilya Wladimirowitsch Dokschin ( Russian Илья Владимирович Докшин ; born October 9, 1981 in Leningrad , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Titan Klin in the Vysschaya Hockey League since 2011 .

Career

Ilya Dokschin began his career as a hockey player in the youth division of the SKA Saint Petersburg . Between 1998 and 2005 he played parallel for the first and second team of SKA in the Superliga and the third-class Perwaja League . He was also used for the city neighbor HK Spartak Saint Petersburg in the second-class Wysschaja Liga . After he had finished the 2004/05 season at HK Sibir Novosibirsk in the Super League, the striker moved to the following season for the second division HK Dmitrov , but ended it at HK Lada Tolyatti in the Super League. With Lada he won the IIHF Continental Cup at European level in 2006 .

For the 2006/07 season, Dokschin signed with Krylya Sovetov Moscow . When the club relegated to the Wysschaja Liga at the end of the season, he left it again and joined its city neighbor HK Spartak Moscow . With Spartak he also began the 2008/09 season in the newly founded Continental Hockey League , but was obliged by its league rivals HK Dinamo Minsk during the season . In the first year of the KHL, the Russian scored six goals in 34 games for Spartak Moscow and Dinamo Minsk and prepared another nine. At the end of the season, Dokschin moved to his ex-club HK Dmitrov.

The 2009/10 season spent Dokschin with the Russian second division team Molot-Prikamje Perm . The 2010/11 season he started with Metallurg Shlobin in the Belarusian extra league and finished it with his ex-club from Perm in the new second Russian division, the Wysschaja Hockey League . For the 2011/12 season, the Russian moved within the Wysschaja Hockey League to Titan Klin .
