Imad Zatara ( Arabic عماد زعترة; * October 1, 1984 ) is a Palestinian soccer player . The Swedish-born offensive player has played his career so far in Sweden, France, Iran and Hungary.
Career
Zatara started playing football at FC Inter Orhoy . He then joined Essinge IK , who from 2003 formed a syndicate with Vasalunds IF . There he made his debut in the adult sector and made higher class attention, so that in early 2007 he moved to the first division IF Brommapojkarna . There he hardly got a chance and got off the Allsvenskan again with the team at the end of the season . He then moved to the Hungarian club Zalaegerszegi TE FC , but after a year he returned to Sweden and joined the second division Syrianska FC in the Superettan .
In his first year at Syrianska FC, Zatara was one of the main pillars that led the club to fourth place in the table. The club then extended his contract by two years in early 2010, but he was awarded a semi-series to the French second division Olympique Nîmes in Ligue 2 . After his return in the summer he was a regular at Syrianska and rose with the team to the Allsvenskan. There he achieved relegation with the team in relegation .
After his contract expired at the end of 2011, Zatara joined the Iranian club Sanat Naft Abadan . In summer 2012 he returned to Sweden and signed a contract with Åtvidabergs FF that was valid until the end of the 2012 season . After nine league appearances until the end of the year, shortly before the end of the year, the club extended the expiring contract with the player until the end of 2014. Under coach Peter Swärdh , he became the club's best internal goalscorer in the following season after Viktor Prodell left the club for Belgium in the summer.
Zatara played several times for the Palestinian national team , for which he also took part in qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.
