Viktor Juhani Prodell (born February 29, 1988 in Eskilstuna ) is a Swedish football player . The striker , who was promoted to Allsvenskan twice with Åtvidabergs FF , made his debut for the Swedish national team in 2013 .

Career

Prodell comes from the youth of the triangle IK . In 2005 he moved to the youth of the former first division club Eskilstuna City FK . There he impressed in particular at the Mariedal Cup in Borås , an important indoor tournament, in autumn 2006 and thus underpinned his ambitions for the club's competitive team. In the fourth division he made his debut in the 2007 season, when he was runner-up behind Arameiska-Syrianska Norsborg , he missed promotion to the third division by three points. By the summer of the following year, he aroused interest in the higher-class area, before he announced his move to the second division Åtvidabergs FF at the end of July at the end of the year - due to his expiring contract, no transfer fee had to be paid and only the one in this one fell for his two previous clubs In the case of compulsory training compensation.

Prodell established Åtvidaberg in his debut season in the Superettan directly in the regular formation and participated in all 30 games of the season. As part of the King's Cup , he made his debut in the final against Finland , which was clear after goals from Tobias Hysén , Robin Quaison and Anders Svensson was won with a 3-0 win. Also in the following season he showed his goal danger and scored seven goals this season by mid-July.

On July 15, the Belgian club KV Mechelen announced the commitment of Prodell, who received a four-year contract in Belgium.
