Daniel Hallingström (born February 10, 1981 ) is a Swedish football player . During his career so far, the defensive player was involved in two promotions to the Allsvenskan .
Career
Hallingström began playing football at Gamleby IF . For the 1999 season he joined the second division team Åtvidabergs FF , with whom he qualified for the single-track Superettan as seventh in the table of the southern season . There he came in the 2000 season to 28 games, but occupied a relegation place with the team. He changed clubs after the end of the season and played for Kalmar FF in the Superettan, but he could not earn a regular place in the team around Lucas Nilsson , Henrik Rydström , Joachim Lantz and Daniel Mobaeck . Only with two missions, he helped the club to the second division championship.
Hallingström returned after a year to the resurrected Åtvidabergs FF and established himself as a regular player. At the side of Mats Haglund , Imad Chhadeh and Pontus Karlsson , he missed promotion to the Allsvenskan with the club in the 2003 season as fourth . Under the new coach Kent Karlsson signed after the end of the season , the club slipped into the back of midfield and played against relegation in the 2006 season , while Hallingström was always a regular on the club's defense. When Karlsson left the club at the end of the year, Peter Swärdh took over the club and led the team back to the top of the table before he was poached himself in autumn 2008. Even under his successor Daniel Wiklund , Hallingström was part of the regular team alongside Kristian Bergström , Jesper Arvidsson , Henrik Gustavsson and Viktor Prodell . In the 2009 season he made a decisive contribution to the club's promotion to the Allsvenskan with six goals in 26 games. After the season he extended his contract for two years.
Despite the club's direct relegation, Hallingström, who continued to be one of the club's regulars, extended his contract and signed a two-year contract valid until the end of 2013 after the end of the season. In 28 games of the season he contributed decisively to the renewed promotion to the Allsvenskan, as table eight at the end of the first division season 2012 , the club held in the top division.
