Joachim Gustav Henric Lantz (born May 10, 1977 in Kalmar ) is a Swedish football player .

Career

Lantz joined Kalmar FF at the age of six, where he then went through the individual youth teams. In 1996 he moved up as a junior player in the squad of the first team. As a supplementary player he came to a few missions, at the end of the season the club was relegated from the second division. In 1997 he changed the club due to his studies and joined IFK Västerås . With the third division team he played against relegation in the following years, which was only made in 1998 in relegation.

In early 2000, Lantz returned to Kalmar FF who had returned to the second-rate Superettan . With a goal in the game against IF Sylvia at the end of the 2000 season , he saved the club from relegation to the third division. Then the followers gave him the nickname " Jesus ". At the end of the following season, the defender was able to celebrate promotion to the Allsvenskan with the club. In his first first division season he was used in 19 games, but could not prevent the direct relegation. With him as a regular player - he only missed one game in the Superettan - KFF succeeded as second division champion in the immediate rise. In the first two seasons in the Swedish House of Lords, he did not miss a game and helped to establish the club in the front of the table. Towards the end of the 2006 season he lost his regular seat and in the 2007 season he mostly only watched the action on the field from the bench. In the autumn, however, he was able to play his way back into the starting line-up thanks to a series of injuries to Tobias Carlsson , Mikael Eklund and Stefan Larsson , his rivals for a place in central defense. On September 2, 2007 he also succeeded in the 3-0 win over Halmstads BK in his home Fredriksskans with the goal to the 2-0 intermediate score his first first division.

In November 2007 Lantz celebrated his first title win with Kalmar FF. In the final of the national cup he and the team beat the reigning champions IFK Göteborg 3-0 with goals from Patrik Ingelsten and two-time goalscorers César Santin . After being in 20 regular season games with the team on the side of David , Rasmus and Viktor Elm , the 2008 season had dominated over long distances, it secured for the first time in club history the Swedish championship. He was also involved in winning the Supercup against cup winners IFK Göteborg at the beginning of the following year, when Daniel Mendes scored the decisive goal shortly before the end. After ten years for Kalmar FF, in which he played in 229 league games and scored six goals, he was without a club at the turn of 2010/11 because his contract was no longer renewed. After a short time without a club membership, Lantz joined the league competitor Mjällby AIF in March 2011 and stayed there until the end of the season, where he could look back on a record of twelve league appearances. Even at Mjällby, his one-year contract was not extended and the experienced defensive line was again without a club. Again in March he found a new club with the lower class playing IFK Berga , also from his hometown Kalmar. For this he was used in the fifth highest division in the country and awarded from the end of August 2012 to the then second division club Östers IF . For this he completed a total of nine championship games and was thus also involved in the team's promotion to the top division in the country. In February, he returned to his home club, and with the fifth division team, he also made it to the next higher division, Division 2 , in 2013 as a runner-up in Division 3 .

In addition to his career as a soccer player, Lantz works as a management consultant.
