Indium (I) sulfide is an inorganic chemical compound of indium from the group of sulfides . Along with indium (II) sulfide and indium (III) sulfide, it is one of the well-known indium sulfides.

Indium (I) sulfide can be obtained by reacting indium with indium (III) sulfide or hydrogen sulfide .

Indium (I) sulfide is a black solid that is yellow in a thin layer and resistant to cold and hot water. According to other information, however, indium (I) sulfide only exists in the gas phase or in a low-temperature matrix.
