Life
Lechleitner learned sculpture from Jakob Auer in Grins and from the imperial court chamber sculptor Giovanni Stanetti in Vienna , where he was also influenced by Giovanni Giuliani . By marrying the Innsbruck bourgeois daughter Anna Barbara Obermayr († 1748) in 1708, he obtained Innsbruck citizenship and was allowed to open a workshop in the city.
