Ingmar Weitemeier, 1977

Ingmar Weitemeier (born August 12, 1952 in Giesen ) was director of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Criminal Police Office in Rampe from 1995 to the end of 2009 and then switched to business as a consultant.

Life

Weitemeier began his service with the Lower Saxony police in 1971 as a detective in the middle class . He was active in various areas, especially in fire and murder commissions . When he was promoted to the senior service he was one of the youngest detective superintendents in Lower Saxony. Among other things, he was a specialist teacher for criminology , criminology and law at the Lower Saxony State Police School in Hann. Münden . In 1980, Weitemeier began training for the higher police force at the Police Leadership Academy in Münster-Hiltrup . Then he was a lecturer at the Lower Saxony University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Justice in Hildesheim . Between 1985 and 1991 he headed the state search command and the mobile task force at the State Criminal Police Office of Lower Saxony . After these assignments, he moved to the Sachsen-Anhalt police force in November 1991 . There he was entrusted with setting up the police department at the Saxony-Anhalt Police University in Aschersleben . In September 1995 he was appointed director of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Criminal Police Office.

In the state association of the CDU Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , Weitemeier is active in the area of ​​"Internal Affairs and Security". He is the editor of the magazine Die neue Polizei, which is published by the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer .
