Ingo Reidl (born June 10, 1961 in Bietigheim ) is a German musician, composer and pianist of the pop band Pur .

Life

Reidl received piano lessons from an early age, studied classical piano at the music college after graduating from high school and completed this course. Together with his childhood friend Roland Bless, he founded the band Crusade in 1975 , which, after renaming it in 1980 to Opus and another name change in 1985, finally became known as Pur .

Ingo Reidl composes and produces together with Hartmut Engler and Martin Ansel for Pur . In addition to his own productions, he is also active as a composer for other artists such as Reinhard Mey . He made a guest appearance on Mey's album "Alles geht" (1992) and played keyboards.

Ingo Reidl is married and has one son.
