Ingomar Hauchler

Ingomar Hauchler (born March 15, 1938 in Biberach an der Riss ) was a member of the German Bundestag from 1983 to 1998 . He is married and has three children.

Life and work

After graduating from high school, he first learned the profession of typesetter , then studied economics and received his doctorate in this subject. After completing his studies, he went to the Metallgesellschaft AG in Frankfurt am Main as assistant to the board in 1967 . He then became the publishing director and member of the management of the Bertelsmann publishing group in Gütersloh . He has been a university professor in Bremen since 1974 . In 1976 the University of Economics in Bremen appointed him professor of economics . He is also a board member of the Development and Peace Foundation , a member of the IG Medien , the Arbeiterwohlfahrt , the Reichsbund , the Bund der Naturfreunde and the Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland e. V. ( BUND ) as well as the Willy-Brandt-Kreis .

Political party

From 1977 to 1983 Hauchler was SPD subdistrict chairman of the Harburg district , from 1983 to 1993 deputy subdistrict chairman, then chairman. In 1987 he became a member of the program commission of the SPD party executive. From 1999 to 2004 Hauchler was the spokesman for the development policy advisory board of the Hamburg Senate .

MP

From 1976 to 1983 Hauchler was a member of the district council in the Harburg district. From 1983 to 1998 he was a member of the Bundestag , elected via the Lower Saxony state list. In the parliamentary group he headed from 1995 to 1998 as chairman of the working group global economy. He was also a member of the Bundestag Committee for Economic Cooperation and a deputy member of the Foreign Affairs Committee . He also held office for a long time as spokesman for development policy and global economy for the SPD parliamentary group.
