The Instant Vibes were a Munich music group that mainly played reggae , dancehall and Latin . It was founded in 2006 by the singers Alexander Köffer and Bastian Zeiselmair, the drummer Andreas Peischl and the keyboardist Oliver Huber in Aichach and dissolved in 2015. Most recently the band consisted of nine members.

history

In 2010 Instant Vibes won the “German Reggae Band Contest” and were named “Best Reggae Young Band in Germany”. After 2 EPs ( Movement 2010 , Welcome to Bavarilon 2011), Instant Vibes released their debut album Characters in spring 2013 . In addition to appearances at the two largest reggae festivals in Germany, the Summerjam and the Chiemsee Reggae Summer , the Instant Vibes u. a. in the opening act of Gentleman , Culture , Miss Platnum and Mono & Nikitaman . In 2013 Instant Vibes won first place at the “ German Rock and Pop Prize ” in the “Best Reggae Band” and “Best Reggae Album” categories.

On April 5, 2015, the band announced their breakup on their Facebook page. The reason given was that they had "lost sight of the common goal".
