Institution Saint Michel : Collège and Lycée is a Catholic secondary school with boarding in Solesmes (Nord) ( Picard : Solinmes ), a French commune in the Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France , part of the Arrondissement Cambrai and Canton Caudry .
history
It was founded in 1924 by the Archdiocese of Cambrai ( Latin Archidioecesis Cameracensis , French Archidiocèse de Cambrai ), a bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church in northern France , and is now also regulated by contract by the Academy of Lille , a branch of the French Ministry for national education, higher education and research . Starting in 2019, around a thousand students from almost a hundred communities within a radius of twenty kilometers will be welcomed in centuries-old Châteauesque buildings .
