15 October 1965, the statement was made to the school of the Bundeswehr Psychological Warfare ( PSKSBw ) and the laying of Euskirchen in a former convent of the Franciscan (Münstereifeler Road 96). On July 16, 1970 the name was changed to School of the Bundeswehr for Psychological Defense ( PSVSBw ). In the 1970s, she was subordinate to the armed forces office , in the special field of psychological defense she was subordinate to the command staff of the armed forces in the BMVg. In May 1986 the school was relocated to Waldbröl (Schaumburgweg 3) and renamed the Academy of the Federal Armed Forces for Psychological Defense ( AkBwPSV ) in September 1987 .
