The 14th International Literature Festival Berlin with its festival section International Children's and Youth Literature took place from September 10 to 21, 2014. The main venue was the Haus der Berliner Festspiele . The section was on 10 September with a speech by Patrick Ness opened, entitled What Every Age I Ever ( Each age at which I ever was ) was wearing.

The extraordinary book
For the third time in the history of the festival, the guests of the children and youth program were asked to choose a book that they would recommend to young readers.
