The song immediately landed 57th place on the Hot 100 , 46th place in the best digital songs , 10th place in the adult pop song and 39th place in the Billboard single charts and thus represented in 4 charts. The music video landed in 1st place in the VH1 V-Spot video countdown. Producers are singers Furstenfeld and David Castell. The single was distributed as CD and download. Subject
The song features the suffering of a young man who jumps off a ship after losing the only person he loves. In the first verse of the song, the protagonist wishes to be a real man as he wants to swim 14 miles. He hears the sounds of whales and drifts. He also describes how cold he is.

The last stanza says that the protagonist is awakened from his dream of the sun and he starts to wonder why he jumped off the ship in the first place. He later remembers that he has lost his great love and wishes to end his life.
