Invent, Animate is a progressive metalcore band from Port Neches , Texas , formed in 2011 .
history
The group was founded in 2011 in Port Neches , Texas and consists of singer Ben English, guitarists Logan Forrest and Keaton Goldwire, bassist Caleb Sherraden and drummer Trey Celaya.
After the debut EP Waves was released on their own in 2012 , the group signed a recording contract with the independent label Tragic Hero Records in February 2014 . On August 26, 2014, the debut album Everchanger was released on the record company. Four days earlier, the album was officially streamed on Revolver Magazine .
From August 8-30, 2014, Invent, Animate toured the western United States to open the Last Ten Seconds of Life , Oceano and I Declare War . In November 2014 the group was to tour Canada for the first time with Betraying the Martyrs in addition to the USA . However, the tour was canceled after Betraying the Martyrs was banned from entering Canada. Between March 15 and 29, 2015, the group toured with Veil of Maya and After the Burial . As part of this tour, the group also played on the South by So What? Festival . Further concert tours followed, all of them through the United States, including with Silent Planet , ERRA and Texas in July as part of their farewell tour in November and December of 2015.
The second album, called Stillworld , is announced for July 8th, 2016. This rose to number 133 in the US album charts in the week of July 30, 2016 .
