Two years later he took part in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano and achieved his best international results with the ranks 70 in the individual and 71 in the sprint. In the further course of the year he ran at the Summer Biathlon World Championships 1998 in Osrblie , where he was 40th in the sprint and 33rd in the individual. At the beginning of the 1998/99 season , Bucsa reached the top 100 for the first time as 100th of an individual in Hochfilzen . A little later, he came 83rd of a sprint in Oberhof to the first double-digit place, at the same time it was the best World Cup result. In 2002 he competed in cross-country skiing at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and was 67 over 30 kilometers. He regularly took part in the World Cup until 2002 , then only once for several races in 2005 .
