Forest worker, World War II and party official

After attending school, from 1936 to 1942, Banc worked as a forest worker in various forestry operations in the Mureștal and then entered military service in the air defense artillery regiment No. 4 in Brașov during the Second World War in 1942 , to which he belonged until 1945.

After the end of the war he worked as a farm worker until 1948 and in 1947 he joined the then Communist Party PCR (Partidul Comunist din România) as a member.
