Irene Naef (actress)
Irene Naef (born December 6, 1922 in Berlin , † February 27, 1999 in Munich ) was a German actress .
Life
After studying ballet with Tatjana Gsovsky in Berlin, Irene Naef moved to Switzerland in 1939 . There she received an acting training at the Zurich drama studio. In 1942 she was discovered by the director Leopold Lindtberg for Swiss film and engaged at the Schauspielhaus Zurich until 1948 . With her first husband, Wilfried Seyferth , she went to the Kammerspiele in Munich . Then Irene Naef was a member of the ensemble at the Frankfurter Schauspielhaus under Harry Buckwitz . With her second husband, the journalist Jochen Leschke , she went to Munich in the early 1960s and worked as a guest at German theaters. She has a daughter from her second marriage, Eugenia Naef , who works as a director.
Her grave is in the Munich East Cemetery .
