Irina Alexandrowna Meleschina ( Russian Ирина Александровна Мелешина ; born Simagina, Russian Симагина ; born May 25, 1982 in Ryazan ) is a Russian long jumper .

The winner of the Universiade of 2003 reached a width of 7.27 m in Tula on July 31, 2004 , which puts her in eleventh place in the all-time world rankings (as of February 2013) . Shortly thereafter, she won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Athens behind Tatiana Lebedewa and in front of Tatiana Kotowa . The three Russian women were just two centimeters apart.

After a baby break in 2006, she reported back at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in 2008 in Valencia with a third place, but at the 2009 World Championships she did not reach the final. In February 2012 she was convicted of doping with testosterone and banned for two years.

Irina Meleschina is 1.70 m tall and weighs 58 kg.
