Irmgard Riessen
Irmgard Riessen (born May 17, 1944 in Burg auf Fehmarn ) is a German theater and television actress .
biography
Irmgard Riessen is the daughter of Heinz Rießen, farmer in Bojendorf on Fehmarn , and Margarethe Rießen, nee. Bols. She did not get to know her father because he died as a soldier in Prague in May 1945.
After her acting training at the acting school of the Hamburger Kammerspiele she played on numerous Hamburg theaters, including the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater , as well as in a large number of television films and series. The actress lives in Trittau near Hamburg.
She is the adopted daughter of the Austrian actor, author and director Fritz Eckhardt .
