Iryna Volodymyriwna Klymez ( Ukrainian Ірина Володимирівна Климець , English transcription Iryna Klymets ; born October 4, 1994 in Tschetwertnja ) is a Ukrainian hammer thrower .

Athletic career

Iryna Klymez gained her first international experience in 2013 at the Junior European Championships in Rieti , where she was eliminated from the qualification with 53.42 m. 2015 it reached at the U23 European Championships in Tallinn with a width of 64.28 m in seventh place and the following year she participated in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in part, but in which they m with 62.75 in the qualifying retired . At the 2017 World Championships in London , she did not reach the final with 64.20 m . In 2018 she took part in the European Championships in Berlin for the first time and finished eleventh there with 68.11 m. The following year she won the Summer Universiade in Naples with 71.25 m . She qualified again for the World Championships in Doha , where she finished fifth in the final with a new personal best of 73.56 m.

In 2018 and 2019 Klymez became Ukrainian hammer throw champion.
