Isabel Hessel
Isabel Hessel (* 1973 in Schweinfurt ) is a German translator for Dutch fiction and poetry .
Life
Isabel Hessel completed a study of the German language , education and Dutch studies at the universities in Würzburg , Antwerp and Cologne , she with the master's degree completed. She has been working as a publishing reviewer and translator since 2003. Isabel Hessel lives in Antwerp and Estenfeld ( Würzburg district ).
Isabel Hessel translates fiction , poetry and non-fiction from Dutch into German . She is a board member of the Flemish Association of Authors VAV and a member of the Association of German-Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works and the "Weltlesebühne" Berlin. She is also part of the Passa Porta translators collective, Brussels.
