Isabella of Ibelin (1241-1324)
Isabella von Ibelin (* 1241 ; † June 2, 1324 ) from the house of Ibelin was queen of Cyprus and Jerusalem by marriage .
She was the eldest daughter of Guido von Ibelin , marshal and constable of Cyprus, and his wife Philippine Barlais.
In 1255 she married King Hugo of Antioch-Lusignan . This was after the childless death of his uncle Hugo II. 1267 as Hugo III. King of Cyprus. After the death of Konrad III. he also became king of Jerusalem in 1268.
Isabella died on June 2, 1324 and was buried in the Franciscan Church in Nicosia .
