Isabelle Dutoit (born September 24, 1975 in Groß-Gerau ) is a German painter .

Life

Isabelle Dutoit studied visual communication from 1996 to 1999 with Dieter Lincke and Friedrich Friedl at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach am Main . From 1999 she began studying painting and graphics with Arno Rink at the Leipzig School of Graphics and Book Art . She completed this in 2003 with a diploma. Until 2005 she was a master class student with Rink.

Isabelle Dutoit has been a member of the Darmstadt Secession since 2005 . In 2015 she joined the painterinnenNetzWerk Berlin-Leipzig .

Isabelle Dutoit works with found and self-created image material as a working basis. She also uses sketches, drawings and works on paper as a basis. Selected z. In her paintings she brings together different elements of the picture. The resulting new rooms offer the recipient space for their own questions and interpretations. At the same time, the work with sensuality, reflection of subjective perception and inner fantasy is reflected in the paintings. The image space is carefully opened to the uncertain and uncanny through the selection, combination and visualization of what is depicted.
