Isabelo Caiban Abarquez (born July 8, 1959 in Panlaan , Cebu Province , Philippines ) is a Filipino clergyman and bishop of Calbayog .

Life

Isabelo Abarquez Caiban received June 23, 1987 by the Archbishop of Cebu , Ricardo Cardinal Vidal , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 27 December 2002 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Talaptula and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Cebu. The Archbishop of Cebu, Ricardo Cardinal Vidal, donated him episcopal ordination on February 18, 2003 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Dumaguete , John Du , and the Bishop of Tagbilaran , Leopoldo Sumaylo Tumulak . On June 19, 2004, John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Palo . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on January 5, 2007 Bishop of Calbayog. The inauguration took place on March 8 of the same year.
