Iskriwka ( Ukrainian Іскрівка ; Russian Искровка Iskrowka ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Oblast Kirovohrad with about 1000 inhabitants (April 1, 2013).

Iskriwka is the administrative seat of the district council of the same name , to which the village Novofedoriwka (Ukrainian Новофедорівка ) ⊙ with 20 inhabitants belongs.

The village in the south of the Rajon Petrowe is 28 km south of the Rajonzentrum Petrowe on the Inhulez and the mouth of the Shovta in this. The Inhulez is dammed north of the village to the Iskriwka reservoir named after the village .

In the south, the municipality borders on the Dnipropetrowsk Oblast belonging to the Rajon Krywyj Rih , the center of which is Krywyj Rih 59 km south of the village. The nearest town is Schowti Wody 21 km northeast of Iskriwka.

Demographics

Istrivka had 1200 inhabitants in 1989 and 1137 at the 2001 census.
