The Jewish cemetery Flehingen is a Jewish cemetery in Flehingen , a district of Oberderdingen in the district of Karlsruhe ( Baden-Württemberg ). It is a protected cultural monument .

There are 294 gravestones in the 3,935 m² cemetery , which is located at the exit to Gochsheim on a steep slope on Gochsheimer Strasse in the “Jewish burial ” corridor . The cemetery was laid out in 1688 and the last burial took place in 1939. The oldest datable stone dates from 1709. There is evidence that dead people from the Jewish communities of Bauerbach , Gochsheim and Eppingen were also buried.

According to their signature, five gravestones from the period around 1900 come from the workshop of the Bretten sculptor Ludwig Christof Meffle.

The cemetery of the Flehingen Jewish community was laid out in 1688 and expanded several times, most recently in 1926. The last burial took place in 1939. In 1985 and 1986 the cemetery was desecrated.
