The Heimatfreunde Eppingen - Eppinger Historischer Verein eV are an association for local and local history in Eppingen in the district of Heilbronn in northern Baden-Württemberg .

The Heimatfreunde Eppingen are the historical association of the city of Eppingen. He has set himself the task of preserving the local cultural heritage and researching it scientifically. These include: conservation , economics , home - and Cultural Studies , Genealogy and the local dialect .

history

The Heimatfreunde Eppingen association emerged from the Eppingen local group of the Badische Heimat regional association . This local group had existed since 1924. The association, recognized as a non-profit organization, was founded in 1977 and entered in the register of associations .

Initially, Bernd Röcker led the association as long-time 1st chairman (1977–1997) and in 1997 Reinhard Ihle took over this task.
