Ilvesheim Jewish cemetery
The Ilvesheim Jewish Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery in Ilvesheim , a community in the Rhein-Neckar district in northwestern Baden-Württemberg . The cemetery is a protected cultural monument .
The dead of the Jewish community in Ilvesheim were first buried in the Association cemetery , the Jewish cemetery in Hemsbach . In 1860 a separate cemetery was built on the corner of Scheffelstrasse and Hebelstrasse. The Jewish cemetery has an area of 7.27 acres and today there are 60 tombstones . The oldest gravestone dates from 1860, the last burial took place in 1935.
