Eichtersheim Jewish cemetery
The Eichtersheim Jewish cemetery is a Jewish cemetery in Eichtersheim , a district of the Angelbachtal community in the Rhein-Neckar district in northern Baden-Württemberg . The cemetery is a protected cultural monument .
The dead of the Jewish community in Eichtersheim were initially buried in the Jewish cemetery in Waibstadt . In 1781 a separate cemetery was built on the road to Wiesloch . The Jewish cemetery has an area of 10.52 acres and there are still 143 tombstones today. The oldest tombstone is from 1845, the last burial took place in 1949.
