Juerg Weibel

Jürg Weibel (born August 19, 1944 in Bern ; † May 24, 2006 in Basel ) was a Swiss teacher, journalist and writer .

Life

Jürg Weibel was born in Bern and first studied medicine , then German , history and Romance studies at the University of Basel . He lived in Basel and worked as a high school teacher, journalist and writer.

From 1972 to 1984 Weibel was co-editor of the Swiss literary magazine Drehpunkt . He was a member of the Olten group and the PEN
