Jürgen Graf (chess player)
Jürgen Graf (born March 30, 1963 ) is a German chess player .
In 1980 and 1981 Jürgen Graf was the Baden youth champion . In 1981 he became German youth champion U20 in Bad Lauterberg in the Harz Mountains , a year earlier he had finished second in Saarbrücken behind Georg Siegel . He took part twice on the first reserve board with the German national team at the Mitropa Cup , in 1981 in Luxembourg and in 1987, with team gold, in Mürren , Switzerland .
In the 1970s he played for SC Pforzheim and in the 1980s for SC Miesenbach . In the German Federal Chess League he played in the 1987/88 and 1988/89 seasons for SG Bochum 31 and in the 1989/90 , 1990/91 and 1992/93 seasons for SG Heidelberg-Kirchheim .
He has held the title of International Master since 1987 . His Elo rating is 2440 (as of October 2013), but he is listed as inactive because he has not played a rated game since the first half of 1993. It had its highest Elo rating of 2445 from July 1992 to June 1993.
