Jürgen Heuer

Jürgen Heuer (born August 13, 1961 in Hamburg ; † February 23, 2018 there ) was a German TV journalist for the North German Broadcasting Corporation and long-time chairman of the Hamburg State Press Conference .
life and career
This year his journalistic career began in 1984 with a traineeship at Norddeutscher Rundfunk. He then worked for a few years at NDR radio before switching to NDR television. This year, since 1997, he has headed the state policy department of the " Hamburg Journal " and was considered an expert on Hamburg state politics. He reported from the meetings of and from the elections for the Hamburg citizenship as well as on the political life of the Hanseatic city .
In addition, from 1996 onwards, Heuer was involved as honorary chairman of the state press conference and on the administrative board of the non-profit broadcaster Tide TV . He has also been a member of the board of the Hamburg Press Foundation since 2007 . He was a party member of the CDU in the Hamburg-Rahlstedt local association .
This year he died after a long illness on February 23, 2018 at the age of 56.
