Jürgen Kunze (born April 8, 1945 in Berlin ) is an FDP politician, former rector of the FHW Berlin , founding rector of the OTA University Berlin , professor of financial services and economics.

Life

After graduation in 1964 studied Kunze at the Free University of Berlin Economics from 1964 to 1969. He also was president of the Rings Political Youth Association and from 1969 to 1970 as auxiliary officer in the state labor office. Kunze was employed as a research assistant at the German Education Council from 1970 to 1974. The doctorate to Dr. phil. In 1973, from 1974 to 1977, he worked as a scientist at the German Institute for Economic Research .

From 1977 Kunze teaches as a professor at the University of Applied Sciences for Business . From 1992 to 2000 he was the rector of the FHW. From 2001 to 2003 he co-initiated the OTA Hochschule Berlin as founding rector.

FDP party work

Kunze has been a member of the FDP since 1964 and was state chairman of the Young Democrats in Berlin from 1969 to 1972 , the former youth organization of the FDP, and from 1970 to 1971 its deputy national chairman. Kunze has been a member of the Berlin FDP state executive committee since 1973 and served as state chairman for some time from 1981.

Kunze worked as citizens' deputy for schools in Charlottenburg from 1971 to 1975. Kunze was a member of the SFB board of directors . Kunze is a member of the ÖTV and the New Society for Fine Art eV Berlin. From September 1976 to 1985 Kunze was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives .
