Jānis Bulis
Jānis Bulis (born August 17, 1950 in Brigi , Latvian SSR ) is Bishop of Rēzekne-Aglona .
Life
Jānis Bulis received the sacrament of priestly ordination on May 22, 1977 through the Apostolic Administrator of Riga , Julijan's Cardinal Vaivods , and was incardinated in the clergy of the Liepāja diocese .
On May 8, 1991 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the Bishop of Liepaja. The Apostolic Nuncio in Italy , Archbishop Francesco Colasuonno , donated him episcopal ordination on June 24 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Riga, Jānis Pujats , and the auxiliary bishop emeritus in Riga, Jānis Cakuls , and the auxiliary bishop in Riga, Vilhelms Ņukšs . On December 7, 1995, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Rēzekne-Aglona .
