Jacob van Moscher
Jacob van Moscher (* around 1615 probably in Haarlem ; † after 1655 ibid), artist name I. van Moscher , was a Dutch painter .
Life
Van Moscher was a landscape painter about whose origins and life little is known. His rather rare pictures show influences from Jan van Goyen , Pieter de Molyns and Cornelis Vroom . He was a good friend of the painter brothers Adriaen and Isaac van Ostade, who often painted the figural accessories on his pictures.
