Jacqueline Hummel (born January 9, 1992 in Leipzig ) is a German handball player . The trained physiotherapist plays on the left back space at HC Leipzig .
Career
society
Jacqueline Hummel started playing handball at SV Motor Nord Leipzig. In 2004 she switched to HC Leipzig as a C-youth player . As a youth player, she was Sachsenmeister and German champion together with her sister Stefanie. From the 2010/11 season she had a second game right for SV Union Halle-Neustadt which ran until June 31, 2013. She then had a contract with SV Union Halle-Neustadt which lasted until June 30, 2017. During her time in Halle, she was the top scorer of the second women's handball league in the 2014/15 season with 213 goals, 146 of which were out of the field. Then she joined the Bundesliga club HC Rödertal . After relegation from the first division with HC Rödertal, she returned to HC Leipzig. This played after the bankruptcy of the GmbH in the third division. In 2019 she rose to the 2nd Bundesliga with the HCL.
National team
She played for the German national junior team and took part in the 2011 European Junior Championships in the Netherlands.
