Jacques Guidon

Jacques Guidon (born July 22, 1931 in Zernez ) is a Swiss painter and writer .

Live and act

Jacques Guidon was born in Zernez in the Lower Engadine and grew up there with Vallader as his mother tongue . From 1947 he trained as a teacher in Chur and Zurich. From 1957 he worked as a secondary teacher in Zuoz . Between 1954 and 1973 he made extensive trips (Europe, USA, Mexico and Canada.)

Jacques Guidon designed with mixed media , art in construction , woodcuts , drawings , sculptures , collages , screen printing , he also created illustrations , posters and caricatures . As a writer, he creates plays and poetry , but also short stories and aphorisms .
