Jakob Derbolowsky

Jakob Derbolowsky (born February 28, 1947 in Ludwigsburg , Württemberg ; † October 24, 2019 ) was a German specialist in gynecology and obstetrics , psychotherapy , environmental medicine and the head of the private academy for psychopedics in Germering .

Life

Jakob Derbolowsky studied human medicine at the University of Munich and in Mexico until 1973 . In 1974 he obtained his license to practice medicine. In 1976 he was awarded a doctoral thesis on the topic "Studies on coagulation physiological significance of Äthanoltests in pregnancy, during birth and in the early puerperium " Dr. med. PhD . After a corresponding further training, he received the specialist certification for gynecology and obstetrics in 1981 .

Jakob Derbolowsky lived in Germering near Munich , was married and had two children. He is the son of Udo Derbolowsky .

Career

From 1974 to 1976 Jakob Derbolowsky worked at the Max Planck Institute for Psychiatry in Munich. He was a research fellow and worked on the topic: "Mental and psychiatric diseases in obstetrics / gynecology" and clinical-psychiatric work. From 1976 to 1983 he was a research assistant at the I. University Women's Clinic, Munich. He then worked for ten years as a resident statutory health insurance doctor for gynecology and obstetrics, psychotherapy in Puchheim near Munich.

After further training, he has the professional titles for psychotherapy (1981) and for environmental medicine (1986).

Since 1975 Derbolowsky has been teaching doctors, holding seminars for other professions in the subjects of psychopedics, psychosomatics , communication, psychotherapy, leadership, relaxation techniques , autogenic training , and Balint group work (doctor-patient relationship).

Since 1988 he has headed the "Private Academy for Psychopedia" founded by his father. He also had a teaching position at the Pedagogical Academy in Linz.

Focus

Derbolowsky's focus was on psychotherapy, psychosomatics, psychopedics, psycho-oncology (including with CB Bahnson), communication, education , self-coaching, relaxation.

Derbolowsky came to the focus in the field of psychotherapy and psychosomatic medicine through his father Udo Derbolowsky , with whom Jakob Derbolowsky did additional training in psychopedics and therapy.

Derbolowsky also became known through the trophotraining developed by him and his father Udo Derbolowsky , a relaxation method that can be carried out with little time and after a short exercise with the result of deep relaxation. Derbolowsky's books on this have now appeared in Slovenian and Dutch .
