Jakobshagen village church

Jakobshagen is a district of the municipality Boitzenburger Land , which belongs to the district of Uckermark in the state of Brandenburg . The village was first mentioned in 1375 as Jakobeshaghen and was owned by the von Pfuel family . Until 2001, Jakobshagen belonged to the then Boitzenburg office as an independent municipality.

The village of Warthe is northwest of Jakobshagen and the Egarsee residential area to the west. To the south-west are the Luisenfelde and Eselshütte residential areas, as well as the village of Metzelthin. To the south are the Paulinenhof residential area and the village of Klosterwalde. To the east are the residential area Annenhof and the village of Herzfelde. The residential areas Collinshof, Am Schlangenbruch and Stabeshöhe, as well as the village of Klaushagen are located in the north. The closest city is Templin .

At Jakobshagen and the associated residential areas are the waters of Mäusensee, Egelpfuhl, the Große Warthesee and several brines .

Worth seeing

The church and a courtyard with a residential house, barn and cattle shed at Dorfstrasse 30 are under monument protection. ( See list of architectural monuments in Boitzenburger Land )
