Hardenbeck is a district of the municipality Boitzenburger Land , which belongs to the district of Uckermark in the state of Brandenburg . The village was first mentioned in 1271 as hardenbeke . Until 2001, the village belonged as an independent municipality to the former Boitzenburg office.
Townscape
location
Hardenbeck is a direct neighboring village of the community center Boitzenburg, which lies in an easterly direction. The Eichenhof, Falkenhain, Hoppenhuus, Mathildenhof, Krewitz and Mellenau residential areas are north of Hardenbeck. In the north-west are the Steinrode residential area and the villages of Funkenhagen and Thomsdorf. The residential areas Rosenow, Düster Möll and Brüsenwalde are located in the west. In the south are the villages of Warthe , Jakobshagen and Klaushagen , as well as the residential areas Mahlendorf, Bröddin, Am Schlangenbruch, Stabeshöhe and Egarsee. The closest cities are Templin , Lychen and Prenzlau .
Several lakes can be found near the village: the Schulzensee, the Schumellensee, the Krienkowsee, the Haussee and Wokuhl. The Ziestsee is located at the Rosenow residential area, and the Large and Small Baberowsee lakes are at Düster Möll.
