Klaushagen is a district of the municipality Boitzenburger Land , which belongs to the district of Uckermark in the state of Brandenburg . The street green village was first mentioned in 1271 as Claweshagen . Until 2001, Klaushagen belonged as an independent municipality to the Boitzenburg office at that time.

Klaushagen is a direct neighboring village of the community center Boitzenburg, which is located in the north-northeast. In the northeast is Wichmannsdorf with the Lindensee residential area. The Sternthal and Kuhz residential areas are located in the east. In the south are Jakobshagen with the residential area Egarsee and Herzfelde. In the southwest is Warthe with Bröddin. The next cities are Templin , Lychen and Prenzlau .

Not far from Klaushagen are the waters of the Großer, Mittlerer and Kleiner Suckowsee, the Trebowsee and, a little further west, the Haussee and the Tief Clöwen.

Village church of Klaushagen
  • The village church is a rectangular stone church from the 2nd half of the 15th century with a colored decorative frieze; originally with slit window, west tower with boarded tower and tent roof; Inside: 3-tier Altarpiece from the beginning of the 17th century, wooden pulpit from the beginning of the 18th century, painting from 1901.   • The school and a new farmer's site, consisting of a stable house and barn, are listed as historical monuments.
