James Goldstone

James Goldstone (born June 8, 1931 in Los Angeles , California , † November 5, 1999 in Shaftsbury , Vermont ) was an American film director , producer and screenwriter .

Life

James Goldstone directed the thriller roller coaster in 1977 . In 1980 he directed The Day the World Ended . James Goldstone received an Emmy for directing Death on the Campus in 1981, a drama that recreates the May 4, 1970 student uprising there . He was also visiting professor at Columbia University in New York and President of the Vermont Film Commission.
