James Michael "Jim" Muro (* 1966 in New York ) is an American cameraman and director .

Life

Muro has been working primarily as a sought-after steadicam operator since the mid-1980s . In this role he worked on films by James Cameron ( The Abyss , T2 , True Lies , Titanic ), Kathryn Bigelow ( Point Break , Strange Days ), Oliver Stone ( The Doors , JFK , Any Given Sunday ), Martin Scorsese ( Casino ) and Michael Mann ( Heat , The Insider ) with.
